LVBS x Harlequin Floors

This year we announced a transformative change as we rebranded to London Vocational Ballet School (LVBS). With our new name and identity, we have also expanded our West London facilities with a second large Harlequin studio.

London Vocational Ballet School chose a Harlequin Activity sprung floor and Harlequin Cascade vinyl floor for the new studio space, as well as Harlequin ballet barres and mirrors.

LVBS Patron and Du Boisson Dance Foundation Founder, Anna Du Boisson, said: “The most important thing in the building is that the quality in the studio is of the highest calibre. When we put our Harlequin flooring in both the downstairs studio and the new space upstairs, I knew it had to be the best quality that we could possibly get.”

“Having state-of-the-art flooring allows us to know we are giving our students the right tools they need to succeed and push themselves as far as they can safely. We know that the impact is softened when they’re jumping and they won’t injure themselves on a slippery surface.” - LVBS Director of Business Operations, Gavin McCaig.

Located in Shepherd’s Bush, we take great pride in our position as a premier location for vocational ballet training, offering education in classical ballet and various dance disciplines for dancers age 10 - 16.

LVBS also shares its studio space with West London School of Dance which offers non-syllabus ballet classes to 2-16 year old dancers.

As the transition to London Vocational Ballet School continues, there will be a series of events and activities throughout the year that engage students, parents, faculty, alumni, and the wider community.
