We are thrilled to announce that Gavin McCaig has been appointed Director of Business Operations at Young Dancers Academy. Gavin is currently a Junior Soloist and Choreographer with Northern Ballet and sits on the Board of Directors at Yorkshire Dance. Having forged an impressive career across the industry as a dancer, award-winning choreographer, director, coach and non-executive director, we are looking forward to him joining our leadership team from August.
“It is an incredibly exciting time to be joining Young Dancers Academy. From the expert vocational dance faculty who shape the talented young dancers of tomorrow, to the academic staff who deliver industry-leading results year after year - this school delivers excellence across the board. I am excited about being able to support the school as we look towards delivering on a 5 year plan for growth and development,” Gavin says. He continues: “As we acquire an extension of our current premises and look towards a rebrand from September, a new chapter dawns for the school - one which promises both continued exceptional outcomes for students and an even larger reach within our industry.”

Notes to the Editors
Young Dancers Academy is a full time vocational school for gifted children from the age of 10-16. Students dance for a minimum of 15 hours per week in a host of styles allowing them structured development in all areas of the art form, alongside top-level academic tuition.
