State-of-the-art Specialist Studios

Our three studios are self-contained within our building and provide plenty of space and natural light for our students to train in. Industry-leading Harlequin™️ sprung dance flooring, mirrors and barres are installed, ensuring students physiological wellbeing is looked after and the impact on training softened. Pianos, modern A/V equipment, A/C and PA systems are also installed in our studios.

Our Building

Following a refurbishment in the Summer of 2023, our school is now fully self-contained in our West London building which was originally constructed in 1898. Built as a drill hall for the 1st City of London Volunteer Artillery, it now serves the community as the home to LVBS, our associate programme and our partner school, West London School of Dance. Set against London's vibrant culture scene, our students visit key landmarks, heritage and cultural venues throughout the school year which feeds into their PSHE, Vocational and Academic curriculum.

Our ground floor is easily accessible with flat entry door points for wheelchair users with accessible toilets available. Unfortunately, the upper floors of our building are not accessible for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility. LVBS has an ambition to improve accessibility to the upper floors of our facilities in the future.

Learning and Common Spaces

Our school contains three classrooms and a new science lab, as well as a leafy student courtyard. Most classrooms boast SmartBoard™️ technology and modern A/V equipment. Each floor has male and female dressing rooms for dedicated student use.

Location

Surrounded by an abundance of transport links, including several local bus networks, Shepherds Bush and Shepherds Bush Market tube and overground stations, our school is situated on the edge of Westfield Shopping Centre.
